26 Weeks Pregnant with Crampy Lower Abdomen

I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with baby #3. I am very familiar with braxton hicks contractions-I've been having them for many weeks now with this baby. However, it seems as though when I need to have a bowel movement I get very, very crampy in my lower abdomen and it triggers braxton hicks contractions. I am not constipated. My BMs are not hard and I am drinking plenty of fluid. But how normal is it to get so crampy? I never experienced this with my other two. Is anyone else experiencing this? It can even make me a bit nauseous if I can't reach a restroom immediately.

I am 37 weeks and have the same problem. I didn't have any of this with my first pregnancy either. I also get the nausea also when I can't get there fast enough. I am usually always constipated also, but lately my bm's have been very loose. I wish I had an answer for us both, but just thought you might like to know that someone is feeling the same!
