39 Weeks..?

i lost my mucas plug yesturday morning, and am wondering how long before labour will start,in opinions, i know it could be a week or two, i was also wondering if it was normal to have sudden shoots of seering pain in the lower abdomen, as it is my second baby, she is cephalic but head is still fairly high, every kick and movement is agony its so so painful, sometimes when she wriggles the pains shoot down my leg, its horrible, i thought babies stopped being so active toward the end, my last was eight pound the midwife said this ones even bigger already, maybe she is so big thats why it hurts when she kicks, is all this normal?
