Allergies Indoors. How to Measure Indoor Air Quality? Is There Any Instrument That Can Do That?

by admin

I am always getting stuffed nose and headaches indoors. My house is a newly constructed house. I am suspecting some gas is generated inside the house because its a new construction. Is there any instrument that is available which I can use to measure the indoor air quality? Can you please tell me where I can get such a instrument? If you guys have any other solution to resolve my allergies that will be great too.

Andy: If you want just a straight particle count, you can search the web for particle counters. Expect to pay in the neighborhood of $150 to $200 US. If you suspect mold, radon gas, or carbon monoxide you can use those do-it-yourself kits. You can get them at http://allergystore.com/test.htm I looked and saw they even have one that lets you test for lead in your kids toys!
