Bladder Control Problems?

by admin

Ok, I am aware that having incontinence can be a problem after having a baby. However, I think my case may be extreme, but I'm not sure, so that's why I'm asking. Embarassing, but I figure this is the best place to ask!

My baby is 11 months old.

I used to be an avid runner (not as much now). Now, I cannot run without wearing a huge Poise pad, and when I'm done running, it is SOAKED. Also, I can't do aerobics either without it getting soaked. Walking isn't too bad.

Is this normal, or do I have an extreme case. What can be done?

I plan on having 1 or 2 more children.

I've been doing keigels since I was pregnant, but I don't think they're helping much!

Have you discussed this with your OBGYN? Like you said, it seems pretty extreme. When I was in prnatal classes, the instructor told me that they can actually do physical therapy with you to get the girl parts working properly again. It can't hurt to get it checked out!
