Did you know that your own bed can actually cause you allergic reactions? That is the case if you have not tried cleaning it for months or years now. One of the significant proofs you can get from this is an itchy back. This can be caused by the allergens or substances your immune system finds bad to your heath and overreacts to it.

The type of allergy can be dust allergy or animal allergy as your bed can already be full of pollen, micro insects, dander, or animal saliva or fur. When this happens, refrain from scratching the areas of your back that has gone itchy. Rather, take antihistamine like Diphenhydramine. You can also try applying hypoallergenic solutions and ointments to give you instant relief.

There can be a lot of possible things that lies in or on your bed. One is dust. This dirty air can transport a number of allergens or substances like dander and animal fur, pollen, and micro insects. Any of these can get stuck to the bed cloth or the voids of the bed’s sponge. When you lie on it, these allergens get contact with your back and possibly on other areas of your body. This will then alert the immune system, which will react by sending antibodies the kinds of histamines. These antibodies will dilate the blood stream; hence the itchy back or surface of the skin.

Aside from dust as carrier of allergens, it can be your pet. Yes, the fur of your cat or dog can contain saliva. You might not know it but the saliva of a cat or a dog has a kind of protein that the human body is allergic to. When you breathe or touch this, you will definitely find yourself with an allergic reaction like itchy back, face, limbs, or eyes.

Other animals can also cause allergic reactions through their dander. When they shed their dried skin or part of their skin, you can get contact with it. Usually, you can lie on it without knowing or touch it with your bare hands. It is therefore very important to vacuum your room, the furniture and fixture of the house to keep from all these.

Animals are not the main cause of your itchy back, though. It can also be caused by mold allergy. This can happen when you get in contact with damp places or things like the couch or yes, the bed. In fact, it does not actually have to be the areas where you have a contact to. It might even be in the box spring or the inner parts. The thing is that you will catch a dash of it by inhaling or breathing it in. That will then cause you the itchy back as an allergy reaction.

Itchy back is definitely an allergy reaction, a mild one. This can be caused by the things you have lied on like the bed, the couch, the mattress, or the soil mat. These things might have pollen, mold, fibers, detergents, and micro insects that the immune system overreacts to. When that happens, antibodies like histamines dilate in the blood streams and thus, itchy back and other allergic reactions happen. To stop this immediately, you can intake antihistamines approved and prescribed by world-class reputed health experts.
