Question: I'm 33 weeks pregnant and lately I've been going back and forth to the bathroom having bowel movements with hardly eating anything. My appetite, instead of increasing, has decreased dramatically. I dont know if this calls for concern, but i just wanted to know if this is normal or any other mother ever experienced this. I just don't like to run to the doctor every time i have a question. So, I like to ask the nurse expert. Thanks in advance!

Answer: Normally, loss of appetite occurs towards the end when you are getting ready to deliver. But honestly it could be anything. It could be because of your big tummy, the rectum and anus are triggered to poop more. If your feeling and condition become worse, it's best for you and the baby to go to the doctor.

This often leads to carcinoma of the skin particularly if unrestrained amounts of sun tanning happens through your life. There's a definite relationship with carcinoma of the skin or a much more serious form called noxious cancer to disproportionate sun tanning, and not using protecting lotions that block harmful UV light rays from hurting your skin. Significant cases of noxious cancer don't occur after one or 2 sessions of sun tanning. How does your body tan? This is the skins natural way of safeguarding itself. This skin illness occurs as exposed areas of your skin are ceaselessly subject to the damaging consequences of UV light rays.

Inside a month, scab tissue will develop, and it'll simply fall off. Scrape It Off Another treatment for trivial cases is electrodessication and curettage ( EDC ). So long as carcenogenic cells don't reappear, you are finished and you can enjoy your ordinary, active life again. This process involves burning and scraping off the areas affected. The name of cancers refer to the kind of cells in which they grow. Cancer results from the rash increase in melanocytes or pigment cells.

This sort of cancer is mostly commonplace amongst male Caucasians particularly those that live in bright climates. It is thought that fifty thousand folk worldwide die from Cancer each year. Squamous cell cancer may result from too much xray exposure, chemical exposure, prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation, and old age. Little , raised, smooth, glossy, and waxed. Ulcering in the skin changes in the skin that don't heal changes in existing moles discoloured skin Areas of the skin that are : Scaly, bleeding, or crusty Flat, rough, red or brown, and scaly. Like a scar and firm signals of possible actinic keratosis are : Cracking or peeling of the bottom lip and a coarse, red, pink, or brown, raised, scaly patch on the skin.

It's not possible to totally get rid of the likelihood of carcinoma of the epidermis, the danger of developing such a cancer can be reduced noticeably with these steps : avoiding sun exposure throughout the day wearing protecting clothing reducing exposure to ultraviolet radiation reapply sun block each two hours and after swimming employing a broad-spectrum sun lotion Fundamental cell carcinoma it's the most comon kind of this illness and it happens on areas of the skin that've been in the sunshine, most frequently the nose. Merkel cell carcinoma is rare, while it can spread speedily. The alarm signals are firm, glossy nodules found in follicles and slightly below the skin on areas of the body exposed to the sun. Also rare is Kaposi's sarcoma, found principally in folk with a debilitated immunological reaction, alarm signals are purple patches on the skin. Sebaceous gland carcinoma is distinguished by hard nodules on the body, particularly on the eyelid. The hard part is maybe deciding upon what the alert sign of skin cancer is and what's normal - if in any doubt, get it inspected by a doctor or skin expert.

My mate Susan ( not her actual name ) called me yesterday to tell me she is just been diagnosed with COPD. She feels shocked as she is a single parent with a young boy and knows that COPD can lead to death. I had a sore throat for about a few days, with painful bronchial tubes and a sense of weakness. The reason why she was diagnosed is really because she caught a cold from me. Many patients have features of both though they may appear together or separately. It's estimated that almost twenty-four million folks in the States have airflow limitation, of which almost 12,000,000 suffer with COPD. COPD and Lingering Bronchitis COPD may be the resultant progression of acute cough that causes swelling and swelling of the mucus liner of the airways in the lung called bronchi.

This leads directly to production of exaggerated mucus that settles in the lungs. This in turn, sets off protracted cough lasting at least a quarter and upto two successive years in length. These periods may warrant instant hospital therapy to make changes to your medicine schedule so that more heavy respiring issues don't present. This is also called COPD exacerbation. Stages of COPD primarily based on one or two tests, your consultant will decide if you suffer with COPD and how harsh your individual case is. Avoiding Exposure to Contaminants In some jobs, exposure to chemical smoke and dust is certain. Since signs of COPD could be like asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis and some other sicknesses, doctors depend on lung function tests and spirometry tests to definitively identify COPD in a patient. These lung irritations can cause COPD over one or two years of exposure.

Since this is virtually a common-or-garden health danger you are facing, speak to your bosses and supervisors about providing the best methods to protect with aids like a respiring mask. Well-timed Vaccinations Vaccination against viral flu and pneumonia is highly recommended in all patients with cardiopulmonary sicknesses, including COPD. Deaths from COPD are about twice as high among amateur and semi-skilled workers in comparison to executives. Particular kind of roles ( socioeconomic class ) can have a role in COPD. Is there any successful treatment for COPD? Typically a health programme involves breathing care. Family History and probably heredity prejudices folk in certain families to develop COPD when other causes ,eg smoking and air pollution are also present. Incapacity and other symptoms can be reduced and so reduce the frequency of early deaths.

Dog Problem Regarding Licking The Carpet Incessantly

My year old mutt recently ate part of the rug that was in her kennel that she stays in during the day. This has never been a problem before, she just randomly decided to eat it. She puked it up, then ate some more, puked that up and now she won't stop licking the carpet and furniture! We are worried that she is ill, although she doesn't act sick (no lethargy, loss of appetite or abnormal bowel movements) and I have also researched the licking and there doesn't seem to be a medical cause. Has any one else had a dog do this? Could she be ill? How do we make her stop?
