Question About Lower Abdomen That Felt Like Labor Pain:

Last night I started having pains in my lower abdomen that felt like labor pains. It lasted for about an hour and a half. Then I got real weak and felt tired, so instead of going to the hospital I went to bed. I was chilling a lot and kept feeling sick to my stomach. Today the chilling is gone and the pains, but my Lower abdomen and stomach are real sore and feel tight. I can't put any pressure on them and it hurts to cough. I also can't walk standing straight up when I first stand. Any suggestions on what this could be and what I should do would be appreciated. Thanks.

ANSWER:
Are you having loss bowel? or vomiting- if you do then you must go to hospital- the danger of electrolyte imbalance is most likely? How about elevated body temperature? This occur after you ate something - maybe related to what you ate? Since you do not have any on-going peculiar signs and symptoms, observe your condition for any worsening- then go and see a doctor.

Eat mild/bland soft food such as broth.

Thanks for asking
