Cause and Cure of Epilepsy

I had epilepsy hit me when I was 22. I had petit mal siezures, and luckily was seeing a great Dr who referred me to see a better one he knew at a bigger hospital. I "donated" myself to be a "lab rat" and i'm very glad that I did. I grew immune to meds that I was taking and tried new ones that came out before they were bieng prescribed to others. One med I tried was Topamax and it took the real bad headache away that came with the epilepsy I had so I told them to try it on migraine patients,glad that I did because it is now prescribed to them. I was also asked if I were willing to have a brain operation and I said yes because I had nothing to lose. I was told that I was the first living person to have it done world wide and I did'nt mind. I'm glad that I did it, I've been siezure free since but will remain on meds for the rest of my life, I suffer from memory troubles but I don't mind the best thing is that I got cured from having siezures and a lot more people are having the operation since and bieng cured. I had people call to ask me about the op. because of bieng scared but I told them not to worry because I was the first and I was'nt. The best thing to do is be like me, I joked about my problem to make myself better,it's hard but it helps.
