Diabetes
My father has it, and I am at risk. What should I be looking out for? Thank you very much. BTW I am 42 years old.

My husband has type one diabetes. You sound like if you were had it, it would be type 2. Its easily brought on by being overweight. (Weight watchers will work wonders for ppl about to get Diabetes.) TRUST ME ON THIS!! Blurred vision, slowed / foggy thinking. Low blood sugars (shakes), High blood sugars with headaches. Having to pee alot, being thirsty alot. Tingling in fingers, toes. Your sores take longer to heal. Reduced ability to maintain an errection too. A simple test can be done at your doctor. The fact that your asking Yahoo and not your doctor leads me to believe you don’t see one that often.
My father is the same way. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR!!!! Especially if your father is diabetic.
