believe it or not a shot of spirit like vodka will lower it, its not endorsed by the doctors as it lowers it to quickly and doctors are not permitted to endorse alcohol anyway, but try doing your test before and after a few vodkas and you will see what i mean, i found this out when talking to a doctor when asking if i could drink pils lager because the sugar turns to alcohol and makes it effectively sugar free, he refused to answer the question but told me the above. hey heres a tought if you combine my recomendation with johns [the next one down] you can walk to the pub and have a few vodkas and diet cokes and come home with a perfect sugar reading. best excuse to go down the pub i have ever heard
