I have fibromyalgia, am female, 58 and a teacher. I take Cymbalta & Celebrex plus Tylenol and I can function enough to work full time. I normally eat a varied and healthy diet (I almost never eat processed foods – I cook with organic chicken and vegetables – things like that. I would very much like to feel better than just functional. Does anyone know if acupuncture would help?

there are several reasons that fibromyalgia flares up. The worst is stress, and acupuncture actually forces the body to relax which helps.
the other is chemical abnormalities within the body. Your body is probably not taking in the vitamin B12. You may have to get B12 shots to correct this. There are also amino acids that work with B12 that your body has not been manufacturing. It all stems down to the intestinal track not having the receptor for the uptake of B12 or your diet having an imbalance of B6 to off set the B12 intake.
So see about B12 shots.
Buy a book on reflexology for the whole body not just hands and feet.
Maybe see an acupuncturist if you wish so.
Last see a nutrionalist to maybe set up a meal plan just for you.
