Good and Bad Effects of Epidural

i got threw my labour with just gas & air

then the placenta wouldnt come out so i had to get an epidural to have a small operation to get it removed, & i hated it afterwards i could'nt feel anything from the waistdown i couldnt get up to pick my baby up so had to keep asking the mum next to me

for actual labour some woman say that can't feel that urge to push, i would rather feel the powerful urge to push the baby out

it really depends on a persons thresh hold i coped pretty well in labour im not saying it was easy but i was really calm

some woman really want it because they have been in pain for a long time & can't cope anymore, so it really depends on the situation on how you feel about it, i mean i could be like NO i want an epidual now lol but fingers crossed i wont
