I gave birth on the 12th of this month, and two days ago started experiencing severe backaches.. like pulsing muscles cramping up in my back.. it's really hard to describe. I can't stand up or sit down without screaming in pain.. it only happens every once in a while, but it's very bad. my dr has told me that I need to go to the hospital to find out whats going on and I am going tomorrow, but before I go, I wanted to see if this has ever happened to anyone else.
my dr never suggested that it could have been the epidural, but I have suspicions that it might be.
just wondering if any of you have gotten side effects from an epidural, and if you did, what were they?

I didn't have an epidural but I did have a spinal for a c-section (second section) almost 5 months ago and this time I have had a dull backache ever since.
If it's severe you definately need to be seen and make sure you mention that you had the epidural on the 12th!
