I'm trying to do research for my school, I have statistics showing how many ambulances get to the accident within eight minutes. However to put this into my work I need to know how long a person has after having an heart attack without treatment thanks.
How Quick Does the Ambulance Have to Get to a Heart Attack Victim Before It’s to Late?

It depends on how big the heart attack is and how big the blockage is. The sooner blood supply is restored to the heart muscle, the better the prognosis and less damage to the heart. With MIs and general emergencies, there is an 8 minute rule for ambulances to get to a patient after they have dialled 999.
If one has a major heart attack and arrests, they only have 2-3 minutes without oxygen. After a cardiac arrest, the chances of survival plummet after the first 90 seconds.
The operator one speaks to will tell the patient or instruct the patients relatives to give Aspirin until the ambulance gets there.
