I am thinking of joining the army but I have a history of epilepsy.
I haven’t had a seizure in 10 years and I take no medication or anything like that.
I had a scan and they pretty much told me that the epilepsy is gone.
With even just this small history, could this stop me from being recruited?

The only suggestion I can give is to be honest about your condition when you talk to the recruiters. They may have a doctor examine you (at their expense, of course) to make that determination.
I was stationed with a guy that had been in the Marines and then went to the Army. One day, at luch time, he was on the floor in the throes of an epilectic seizure. He was given a discharge. But, he had not told anyone that he was epilectic. I do not know what happened to him but, his condition had been carried over from his time in the Marines and he lied to get into the Army. They Army would have every right to deny him medical benefits because he falsified his enlistment papers. So, just be honest. Take your medical records with you when you talk to the recruiters.
Don't be surprised if they accept you and your job selection is not very good.
