I am 14 weeks pregnant now. Everyday I travel for 1.5 hours from my work to home.
After I get down I get pain in my bumbs and legs and my Gynec suggested that it
is because I was sitting for long time and it will be normal.
yesterday night around 1.00 A.M all of a sudden I got severe stomach pain,(Pain in lower abdomen and my hips)
It was little similar to cramps but not exactly.Since i was in the middle of my half-sleep, I couldn't distinguish the pain.It was very bad but lasted only for 10 minutes.
after 10 minutes i just slept and it became normal.
till now (almost after 8 hours) i didn't have the pain and I don't have bleeding.
I just feel like some movement in my lower abdomen(left).
I called up my Gynec and she saying that no need to worry since the pain did not persist. and if it comes again asked me to come to emergency. She also added that the pain could be because of some legiments. What is it? Though my gynec said not to worry. I am not able to stop thinking of this and It worries me.
Wht is the reason for this pain? can someone give me more information on this?

Your uterus is growing and will cause cramp like pains through out.
You could also have Braxton Hicks contractions, but they typically only last a minute like a real contraction.
