Quick Question About Diabetes Diet
I have pre-exsisting diabetes and I have to do the whole finger stick 5 times a day to make sure my blood sugar level doesn't exceed 140. I've been doing pretty good with eating plenty of fruits and vegetable. My question is if I eat rice and pasta (which I'm not supposed to eat because it supposedly raises my blood sugar level) and my BSL doesn't exceed 140 will it still affect my unborn child? Will it hurt me even if I'm not exceeding the 140 mark. When I eat them my BSL is mostly around 128 or so.
Thanks in advance

Sounds like your A1c should be great. Keep your bg under 140 through out your entire pregnancy, make sure you are seeing your endo (If you don't have one now would be a good time to get one) and have a happy healthy pregnancy. It sounds like you already have great control. Congrats on that. I know how hard it is. Feel free to stop by:
