Ringing in My Ears – Tinnitus

January 4, 2010

Is there anything I can do to relieve the ringing in my ears?

Answer:

Ringing in your ear is only a symptom of a medical condition such as diseases, injury or presence of foreign objects to your ear or even non-foreign object such as ear wax – triggers ringing in your ear.

First find out for any underlying cause(s). One reason would be an overdose to some medications such as aspirin, TB meds, etc. so double check if you are in this kind of medication. Loud noise of any kind, foreign objects, fluids, infection and even inflammatory disease of surrounding tissues and parts near your ear can cause ringing sound.

Once you found out what causes it then relieving the problem is easy.
