Everyone around you cannot make your decisions and I&#039;m surprised that they are being so morbid instead of supportive! If my family had their way I would&#039;ve given up long ago but if it is in your blood then you cannot possibly do it as you just get depressed - trust me, I&#039;ve tried!

Get your friend to continue riding him, and when you are well enough, I&#039;d borrow a schoolmaster for a while to get you back in the saddle and up to fitness again.

Please do not sell him, you will regret it in the long run!
