What are the symptoms of diabetes in a child?

I babysit for a boy who goes to the bathroom about every 1/2 hour and drinks so much more than any of the other kids. I told his mom about it, but she hasn't done anything. He also seems to have dark circles around his eyes. Are there any other symptoms?

oh.so.cookie. June 1, 2009 at 6:41 am: Drinking lots, big appetite, weight loss, fatigue, decreased consciousness (fainting, confusion, coma), and eventually death. Also, the smell of acetone (like nail polish removers) can be smelled on the person's breath.
