I have this reoccuring pain in the center of my back between my shouldblades. It comes and goes. Mostly after I have eaten or in middle of the night. I thought it might be the start of gall bladder problems, but now I am not so sure. Has anyone else had this and can tell me what it is. I can't afford to go to the doctor unless I absolutly have to.

If it happens around when you eat it could definitely be related to the GI system, something such as the gallbladder. Does it happen more if you eat real fatty foods? You may be able to help alleviate your symptoms by not eating foods that are real fatty. It would be a good idea to get it checked out just to make sure. There are many things that can refer pain to this area.
