You Know How Humans Shouldn’t Hold Their Pee, Isn’t It the Same With Dogs? I Wonder if It’s Bad for Them.?

by admin

If a human holds their pee for a long time, they can have an increased risk of bladder infections or urinary incontinence. So I wonder. I see some people who have dogs, go to work and leave the dog at home for 8 hours. The dog doesn't get to pee until the person comes home. So isn't this bad for the dog?

It is best to allow access for urination at all times or as frequently as possible. Holding the urine causes concentrations that encourage crystal and stone formation causing bladder stones and urinary tract infections.
