Hot baths, heating pads, ibuprofen, and prescription muscle relaxers can help.
If you are under medical care, ask about Trazodone. It's an anti-depressant, but will help you sleep. This is what finally helped ease my aches and pains. It's been shown that people with fibromyalgia have trouble getting that "restful" sleep and that is part of what causes so much pain…the body isn't relaxing enough. The Trazodone helps you get that REM sleep that allows the body and its muscles to relax, thus decreasing aches and pains.
