Does fibromyalgia qualify you to go on disability if you can't work unless you take prescr. narcotics?

I have been taking prescription narcotics for 5 years now to allow myself to work as a school counselor. It is a struggle to get out of bed in the morning due to the stiffness that goes with it, and have to try and time my medication so I am not driving under the influence. However, I hardly remember things that happen through the day and when I injured my wrist at work, I am unable to write or type (a friend is typing this for me). I am under workman's comp, but feel like I am unable to put my body through this anymore. I have two children to support as a single mom, one in college, and am not sure what to do.
