I had an ultrasound yesterday. I measured 8w4d and cardiac activity was strong – the heartbeat was 186 bpm and the doctor said it was perfect. The baby was also moving around a lot. It was hard to tell but he pointed it out to me and it was really funny! Does the heart rate increase a lot during fetal movement? Does it increase during maternal excitement even?
Maybe a girl with a high fetal heartbeat? lol. I love old wives tales!
