I am 21 and was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia on Monday. I have been suffering from this for about 10 years. I have been to doctors who have told me it is all in my head for so many years that I started to believe them. The pain is so debilitating at times that I have to use a wheelchair just to get around. I finally went to a rheumatologist that believed that I am in pain. I am so happy to know what I have, because now I can fight it.
I am trying to lose weight because I have gained about 35 lbs in the last 2 years because of depression caused by being in constant pain. I have tried to take it off, but diet alone has not worked for me.
What exercises can I do without causing me to have a flare up?
