Questions About ADD And ADHD
To answer your query, ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder do exist). It’s not a phenomenon. It isn’t over-diagnosed but some people are reacting too much if their relative or friend has it. It’s normal because of fear that the person they love is not normal or has a malady.
I’m not diagnosed with it but I know people who have it, and to tell you the truth most of those people are healthy and are leading a successful career, and they are productive in the society. They have struggles but because of the love and encouragement of the people around them, they are surviving, and they are prepared for whatever situation they might experience now and in the future.
Well, I don’t see ADD or ADHD as a disease. People who have them might show some erratic behavior from time to time but that doesn’t make them abnormal or that won’t make them functional and helpful to the society. And another one, we should help the people we know who are suffering from such a plight because they need all the loving and understanding that we can give to them.
