Pain control for Fibromyalgia?

Hi
I've had Fibromyalgia for 18 yrs and am now totally disabled with the pain. I'm on 24mg Hydromorph Contin 2x/day but I'm still in pain. I can barely function, and i get hurt very easily, no matter what I try to do. Does anyone out there take this medication, and if so, what else do you take? ie. muscle relaxants? sleep meds?

Thanks
Caroline
Hydromorph Contin is slow-acting morphine. I'm also on fast-acting morphine called Dilaudid, but I must be on the wrong dose as this stuff barely helps at all. My doctor has tried me on all kinds of stuff, but, as with many FMS patients, I have multiple chemical sensitivities, so he's basically thrown up his hands. Some meds make my hands and stomach swell up, others give me severe stomach cramping, and others "blow my head off" (not a true medical term 🙂
