reply if YOU suffer(ed) from febrile fits or epilepsy or YOUR child does….
my daughter suffers from febrile fits, she has generalized ones. i dont know why but she also has fits in which she screams loudly and becomes stiff and still, even the eyes dont blink, without fever. A scream, very loud and lenghty is accompnied by it whether it is a fit with or without fever.
Why does she scream, is it all painful? She is 23 months old now but she lacks behind in development. She can only say a few words and started walking at the age of 21 months. Will she catch up with kids of her age, later on?? Im very worried and felt like collecting some information from other mothers/patients with the same or similar problem.
She is on 3.5ml sodium valproate (epival) and 4 drops of clonazepam (rivotril), twice a day.
