I had my baby 1 week ago. Yesterday and today I have been noticing this very painful sharp shooting pain throughout my stomach. It starts somewhere near my uterus and bladder, (it almost feels like a “prickling” sensation) and I feel it anywhere from my upper stomach like heartburn to down in my rectal area. I have felt a similar pain before when I needed to have a bowel movement while on my period.
When I urinate, the pain worsens toward the end and it almost feels like my uterus is going to fall out or something!!
Is this just a normal after-pregnancy pain where everything is shrinking back to its normal size? Or should I be worried and call the doctor? My husband is going crazy and wants to rush me to the hospital for every little ache and pain now!!
