A Question About A.D.D
So is A.D.D and A.D.H.D the same thing or not?
cause from what I understand a.d.d stands for “attention deficit disorder” which is the name that is used for people who have a.d.d without hyperactivity.
A.D.H.D. stands for “attention deficit hyperactivity disorder” which is the name used for people with hyperactivity. I was recently told that it was the same disorder but I have A.D.D (inattentive type) and I’m not hyper actually I am constantly low on energy and get tired easily. So can someone explain to me why people say ADD AND ADHD are THE SAME THING WHEN THEY’RE NOT I do seem TO BE HYPER.
They’re not the same, A.D.D is just a subtype for A.D.H.D. You should contact your general practitioner right away if you know someone who has it or if you feel that you need medical attention. This innate inattention deficit disorder can still be lessened if you act right away. A.D.D in children can be a serious matter if won’t be treated right away. For information that helps, read these write-ups from Help Guide, Health Line, and WebMD. ADHD treatment isn’t that complicated so don’t worry too much.
