Side Effects Of Adderall
I’m 18 years old and have taken both Adderall and Adderall XR (Extended Release) for the past 4 years. I first started out taking Adderall (Amphetamine Salts) and it worked fine. Until I started to become dependent on Adderall. It seems/seemed to be the only thing that has given me relief from ADHD (Attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity).
I switched to the extended-release (XR) of Adderall and had better results with the dependency issue. I am currently taking the XR and feel overall happy with the drug, except I find it harder to get to sleep at the end of a long day regardless of how tired I may be. I have also tried (non-stimulant) Strattera, but couldn’t focus on it either.
Concerta caused me to experience withdrawal and dependency. Ritalin worked for a while but after taking it for months eventually caused me to become annoyed and easily frustrated when I took the drug.
Does anyone know of a non-stimulant (drug) besides strattera or natural way(s) to live a normal life?
I’ve tried to go to school and work without Adderall and cannot function. I am not able to focus, stay on any task for more than 5 minutes, or stay calm. Do you or someone you know take Adderall? If so, are you/them happy with the changes caused by Adderall?
To be dependent on one medicine isn’t that healthy sometimes. Before trying other ADHD remedies other than Adderall, make sure that it’s safe and credible. Don’t just rely on hearsay or second-hand information because you need to have credible information about your situation or malady.
