Is it really right to mercy-kill your life-long companion…Our lovely pet had suffered for six very long months before we witnessed a major epileptic attack which was worse than any we had witnessed so far…and one which did not stop till the very end. At that very moment we couldnot fully understand which was more horrible- the thought that we were really going to lose our loved one or the brutal fact that even we,his family, couldnot really help him fight the unpredictable disease. All of this and more still weighs us down and it is perhaps for these reasons that i still find myself wondering if it was the right thing to do….
